I would bring Leng for a dream honeymoon here

Actually, it’s more a dream for me, to indulge my amateur wine tasting fancies.

How do I become an adult?

Good story from Cary Tennis on growing up, something I’ve been thinking a lot more about lately, with the wedding approaching and all.

I like this excerpt from the article:
‘You know what time it is. The tiger knows what time it is, too. It is time for you to become an adult. But you do not know how to do it. Of course you don’t know how to do it! You are not really supposed to know how to do it. The way you learn how to do it is by wandering. But you also need to find a guide.’

Is Leng my guide? Or is it someone else? Do we guide each other? I guess I’ll have to figure things out as they come along.

Wondering if this might be an option for Leng and myself in the future…

Phew! What a weekend. I did get a earful from Leng for not staying in touch with her, but everything’s fine now. Just read a great article on the F1 race from the New York Times.
Man, it certainly hurts not being able to drive after I sold my car.
Maybe I can go a few rounds with Boon’s ride.

There Never is a Right Time

Private Post. Only Boon Huat can read this post.

I never wanted Leng to find out this way.
I was waiting for the right time, or after the money had run out.
Either way, it wasn’t going to be easy.
I guess above all I really, really hate letting her down.

I get really irritated with people who don’t understand what were the causes behind the financial crisis and they keep on wanting explanations and after going on and on they still don’t get it!

So, once and for all, watch, and learn.

I can teleport leng to Mars for a real sunrise date.

In a rather mellow mood lately. Read this article on the late, great Patrick Swayze.

Was remembering one of my home-movie dates with Leng, watching ‘Ghost.’

And now I’m feeling like one. Not because I’m dead and unfulfilled.

But because you’re like a ghost in Singapore. You don’t fit into this society that’s hell bent on efficiency and deadlines.

Sigh. Anyway, its a good time to think about what my priorities really are.

This is one place I would definitely bring Leng to if we had the time, and money for a long honeymoon.

Europe is so… old, and has so much charm.

Just want to share this great poem that Min alerted me to, she knows I love anything to do with fantasy.
